教授本科生课程《生态学》、《趣谈二十四节气》、《创新研修课》;研究生课程《生态学实验设计与分析》、《可持续生态学》、《生态学专题》、《生物统计学》。指导40余名本科生毕业论文,其中多人获优秀。指导学生参加全国大学生生命科学竞赛获得三等奖、优胜奖、省级二等奖等,获创新创业大赛国家级三等奖,创新创业大赛项目或省级重点资助和校级资助多次,挑战杯获得校级资助。每年指导6-8名本科生的野外生态学实习,所在团队获河南省和河南大学研究生优秀导师团队称号。
