【研究方向】癌症生物学和转化- 多年来一直致力于类固醇激素和维生素 D 受体与肿瘤的形成和治疗的研究,由其主导的团队对前列腺、乳腺、卵巢等生殖系统肿瘤的内分泌调控进行了系统研究,其研究也触及其他实体瘤的信号传导和增殖、细胞调亡, 蛋白的磷酸化, 泛苏化,以及PTEN-FoxO,sirtuins ,mTOR等和衰老与癌症有关的信息通路,micro-RNA调控,DNA甲基化和化疗抗性机理等。近年来开展的尚未发表的研究工作重点放在了肿瘤微环境,自噬和溶酶体氨基酸转运以及蛋白能源的代谢和利用,肿瘤免疫和免疫治疗,纳米材料和靶向输送在肿瘤治疗上的应用等方向上。
【教育及工作经历】1983年毕业于兰州大学生物学系并获动物学专业学士学位, 1984考取中国科学院北京动物所硕士研究生,同年被推荐参加得中美生物化学和分子生物学合作项目(CUSBEA)考试并顺利通过后赴美留学, 于1992年毕业于University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciencesat Houston and M. D. Anderson Cancer Center并获得生化和分子生物学博士学位,博士生项目致力于癌基因和磷酸激酶的研究获得Welch Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship资助,1992年到1997年在贝勒医学院细胞生物学系做博士后,主要研究类固醇激素受体,磷酸化和信号传导以及基因转录控制、博士后曾获得NIH Endocrinology Training Grant and NIH Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship; 从1997年起任University of South Florida College of Medicine病理系和H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center助理教授(tenure-track), 2003升任副教授并获终生教职衔(Tenure),2007年升任正教授。多次担任美国国家健康总署(NIH)科学研究评审专家团成员,美国国防部国会定向医学研究(Congress Directed Medical Research Program, CDMRP)前列腺癌, 乳腺癌, 卵巢癌研究项目方面的研究评审团成员,以及美国国内外多家癌症研究基金发放机构研究项目评审。现任Scientific Reports编委和二十余家美国主流杂志的审稿人。以主持人身份从美国国家健康总署(NIH)和国家肿瘤研究所(NCI),美国国防部前列腺癌,乳腺癌,卵巢癌研究项目获得科研项目15项,科研基金总额约1300余万美元。在美国主流学会核心期刊杂志发表论文60余篇,摘要发表40余篇。研究成果曾两次登上主流杂志封面,包括自然子刊《自然细胞生物》。曾受邀在美国国内外30多家大学, 癌症中心和学术会议上做学术报告.
